BOSTON, MA — December 18, 2025
Club Benchmarking, the private club industry’s recognized leader in business intelligence software, recently completed the strategic acquisition of Vivid Software (“Vivid”), marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth and innovation journey.
This alliance brings together two companies deeply committed to addressing the unique governance and management challenges of the private club industry with application specific software solutions. By integrating Vivid’s technology and expertise, Club Benchmarking will add mission critical process and planning applications to its existing suite of benchmarking, capital planning and workforce analysis solutions. The integration of these solutions are directly aimed at fostering strategic governance and data-driven operational leadership. Club management teams and volunteer leaders will be armed with deeper insights, more evolved fact-based decision-making and robust business planning applications.
Vivid Software founders Renee von Ruexleben (Vivid CEO) and Till von Ruexleben (Vivid COO), have joined the Club Benchmarking team. Their leadership and vision have been instrumental in developing cutting-edge member and employee survey software, now a core component of the Club Benchmarking VISTA platform.
Renee von Ruexleben, a respected business psychologist and founder of Brodtmann Consulting Group, has spent more than two decades advising Fortune 100 companies and small-to-medium enterprises across the U.S. and Europe. Her work focuses on leadership effectiveness, team dynamics, and individual motivation—principles that shaped Vivid’s innovative survey tools.
Till von Ruexleben is a hands-on technology strategist with a track record of generating more than $1.2 billion in shareholder value for IT security and mobile device management startups. As the former Mobility CTO for Symantec’s Enterprise Security Group, he has delivered keynote addresses at global security events and authored influential studies on big data, mobile security, and the Internet of Things.
“Aligning our Vivid Suites with the unprecedented depth and breadth of private club data available through Club Benchmarking will deliver easy-to-use, instant insights into club operations, project progress and team alignment with the club’s vision and mission,” said Till von Ruexleben. “Covering financial metrics, club governance and environmental best practices - all in one - is providing the club leadership with credibility and acumen to tackle challenges and to secure the support of club presidents and boards.”
Also joining Club Benchmarking is Marc Lammerding, an MIT-certified CTO and Chief Cloud Solution Architect. As a mathematician and IT scientist by training, Lammerding led the Vivid technology roadmap, system architecture, and software engineering teams.
“We are thrilled to join Club Benchmarking in delivering even more powerful and impactful business intelligence to the private club industry,” said Renee von Ruexleben. “Together, we are on a mission to create world-class resources that support sustained success for clubs.”
“This collaboration reflects our enduring commitment to delivering critical insight and empowering leadership teams with data and fact-based insight across the entire club,” said Jim Butler, CEO of Club Benchmarking. “The technology developed by the Vivid team elevates our existing offerings—especially our Viewpoints member and employee surveys and Beacon services.”
